London football hooligan Billy Evans gets in over his head when he joins a dangerous criminal gang and becomes its leader. Events rapidly escalate as Billy feuds with hothead gangster Mickey over a backstreet protection racket and Billy realizes very quickly that he has bitten off far more than he can chew.
